Mock Business Proposal
Olympic Bidding Process

This is a group project that I worked on for the entirety of my Fall 2023 semester. it relates to how my team proposed to restructure the current hosting structure utilized by the IOC to make it more sustainable, economically beneficial, and interesting. Although the team found the information together, I created the entire slide deck using IOC colors.

Mock Business Proposal
NCAA & Gender Inclusivity

After a semester of understanding how the organizational behavior of sport organizations can lead to perpetuated inequities, a team of students and I looked at measures that the NCAA could implement to be more cognizant of the needs of women's sports fans. This kind of critical analysis helped me frame effective ways of communicating both positive aspects and areas for growth within a sport organization.

AI & Algorithm-based hiring and evaluation technology: LinkedIn & beyond

This paper was developed for my digital and information technology class which focused on ethical consumption and production. In this paper, I focused on being as un-biased as possible to prove that using AI algorithms leads to negative outcomes. Inherently it is difficult for me to write in a way that is both persuasive and unbiased. This writing exercise taught me how to integrate sources and data effectively to prove my points.

Restructuring The Olympic Games

The document is the more detailed version of the first presentation on this page focusing on restructuring the Olympic bidding process. Although this was a mock proposal, it gave me the critical experience of proposing a long-term project with multiple stakeholders. Doing this mock project has significantly helped me prepare for two courses I am currently taking where I am pitching ideas to two clients: Illitch sports and entertainment as well as the Pistons.

For my Minor-in-Writing intro class I took a news piece that I wrote in high school and created both black-out poetry and part of a TV-sitcom script based on the situation. I am really proud of these pieces because I had never done either type of writing project before this class. Find my whole project and MiW portfolio below.
